Airports

Castello delle Racchiusole is easily accessible from the main E45 superstrada, about 17km North West of Perugia and the same South West of Umbertide, through which runs the River Tiber.

The nearest four airports are between one and a half and two and a half hours by car; Bologna Forli [Ryanair], Ancona [Ryanair], Rome [several airlines] and Pisa [several airlines]. Perugia Airport, which Ryanair hopes to fly to before the end of 2006, is only about half an hour away. In the meantime, it is possible to fly into Perugia, via a local flight from Milan.
